Malva Rosa is a gorgeous pink, large, hibiscus-like flower that occurs in only a few places on Catalina Island, and is considered rare, threatened or endangered in California. It was once thought to be extinct on Catalina, until this vibrant beauty was observed on a small islet just off the coast of the Catalina.

The beauty and stature of this unique flower is captured on this simple yet sturdy hand carved, hand dyed and hand stitched bag.
